Women’s Torah Leadership

During this program (which lasted three years), female Torah scholars participated, each of whom was advancing an innovative Israeli, religious initiative. The women received financial support along with group meetings, training sessions, and personal conversations facilitated monthly by Kolech. These sessions addressed topics relevant to the participants’ daily challenges, such as budget management, fundraising, and navigating the tensions between innovation and traditionalism or the challenges of Orthodox feminism.

Additionally, each woman received ongoing mentoring that included personal discussions addressing the specific challenges and issues they faced within their personal initiative.

After three years, as the various initiatives solidified and the women gained experience and knowledge, the participants graduated and continued their journeys independently with newfound confidence, guidance, and support.
